Brad Rush is a seasoned senior executive with extensive corporate finance and real estate experience in the field of senior living, including independent living, assisted living, dementia care and skilled nursing. A chartered global management accountant, certified management accountant, certified financial manager, certified public accountant licensed in Florida, certified in financial forensics, and certified information technology professional, he served in a variety of senior executive roles in the field of commercial real estate from 1996 through 2000 and the senior care sector from 2000 through 2011. Mr. Rush currently serves as chief executive officer and managing principal. In 2007, Mr. Rush was appointed president of Mission Senior Living, a start-up senior living development and operating company in northern Virginia. From 2003 through 2007, he was chief investment officer and chief financial officer for Sunrise Senior Living, at the time the largest provider of assisted living in the world, with over 440 communities in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Germany, generating annual revenues in excess of $2 billion. As the president of Sunrise Senior Living Investments he developed joint ventures with capital partners to build, buy and operate properties in aggregate over $11.5 billion dollars, and also served as the president of Sunrise Senior Living Management, Inc. and Sunrise Senior Living Development, Inc. With these significant responsibilities, Mr. Rush developed professional competency in the structuring and execution of real estate investment trusts, initial public offerings and typical health care related strategies of utilizing single purpose entities, real estate holding companies, thinly capitalized tenant entities, management companies, and related supply companies to meet the conflicting needs of lenders, investors and operators of senior living communities.
